Protecting the health and safety of our campus community is Wesleyan College’s top priority. A committee of representatives from our COVID-19 Task Force, which includes the director of health services, dean of students, director of residence life, provost, director of human resources, director of facilities, and others, is actively monitoring outbreaks of COVID-19 on campus. This team of professionals has developed scenarios for students, faculty, and staff who have exhibited symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive, and who have been exposed to someone with the virus. We will continue to work with local and state partners on this effort.
Wesleyan College will post and update notifications when confirmed cases are reported.
Students who have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed, should contact the director of health services. Employees should contact the director of human resources.

Each member of the Wesleyan community has been asked to sign a pledge to Protect the Pack, pledging to monitor themselves for symptoms of the coronavirus and stay away from others if they have symptoms, wear a cloth or procedural face mask when in the presence of other people, keep a safe distance between each other, and observe best practices of hygiene and cleaning.
Our guidelines will follow scientific research and best practices about COVID-19 for our community, even if those guidelines require more stringent rules for interaction than our region, state, or nation.
We will hold one another accountable for following the guidelines for safety in our community.
We will put safety first, so that we can accomplish all other goals for our academic community.
Students must notify the director of health services immediately upon receiving a positive COVID-19 test result. Upon notification, individuals will be required to complete a short questionnaire indicating all the buildings they have been in for the last 48 hours.
