Professor of Psychology

B.S. (Psychology) Valdosta State University; M.S. (Social Psychology) Florida State University; Ph.D. (Social Psychology) Florida State University.

My primary research training involves the intersection of psychology and the legal system, specifically the impact of race and stereotype formation on eyewitness memory and juror interpretations of legal proceedings. Recently I've also followed an interest within the history of psychology to develop a line of research on perceptions of consciousness and how our attitudes about robots can tell us more about being human.

Undergraduate Courses Taught:
Social Psychology; Research Methods; Systems of Psychology; Psychology of Personality; Forensic Psychology
