tuition and fees 2026-2027

The following rates are for the 2026–2027 academic year and take effect in August 2026.

Many Wesleyan students lower their out-of-pocket cost by combining scholarships, grants, loans, and payment plans. In many cases, that means attending Wesleyan may cost less than families expect. Our team is here to help you and your family understand your options, compare costs, and take the next step with confidence.

  • No out-of-state tuition means students from outside Georgia pay the same base tuition as Georgia students.
  • Merit scholarships, financial aid, state and federal support, and flexible payment options can work together to make a Wesleyan education as or more affordable than many public colleges.
  • If you are feeling unsure where to begin, Wesleyan's team can help you understand both your options and your next step.

Tuition and Fees

What does it cost to attend Wesleyan?

Tuition rates are set each year by the Wesleyan College Board of Trustees. There is no additional charge for out-of-state students. For many families, Wesleyan's scholarship and aid support can make the real cost lower than they may expect from the published rate.

Full-Time Day Students: Residential

Category Fall Spring Total

Institutional Fees $700 $700 $1,400

Finacial Aid and Scholarships

Many Wesleyan students use financial aid to reduce what they pay out of pocket. The first step is completing the FAFSA and making sure any required items in the Wesleyan Portal are finished.

How to apply for financial aid
  1. Complete the FAFSA at studentaid.gov. Wesleyan's school code is 001600.
  2. Check your Wesleyan Portal regularly to see whether any additional documentation is needed.
  3. If you plan to borrow federal loans, review and accept them in the portal and complete any required federal loan steps.
Important: Financial aid is not automatically applied to your account until all required steps are complete. Delays in paperwork can delay your aid.

How to Pay your bill

There are several ways to pay your tuition and fees at Wesleyan, and many students use more than one.

  • Use financial aid and scholarships: If all requirements are complete, aid will be credited to your account at the start of each semester.
  • Pay online through WesPortal: Students and families may pay by credit card, debit card, or electronic check.
  • Pay in person or by mail: Cash, check, or credit card payments may be submitted to the Business Office.
  • Enroll in a payment plan: Wesleyan offers an interest-free monthly payment plan through Cashnet.
  • Use third-party funding: Some students use employer reimbursement, Veterans Administration benefits, or agency funding.
Montly Payment Plan

Prefer to pay in smaller monthly amounts? Wesleyan offers a payment plan through Cashnet to help families spread the remaining balance into smaller monthly payments during the semester.

  • Interest-free
  • No credit check
  • $35 enrollment fee each semester

A payment plan is not additional financial aid. It does not reduce your balance. It simply gives you more time to pay it in smaller amounts.

Payment Plan Schedule

Semester Enrollment Opens Enroll By for Max Payments Max Payments Due Date
Fall June 11 Jully 7 Up to 5 10th of each month
Spring November 11 December 7 Up to 5 10th of each month
Summer April 11 May 7 Up to 3 10th of each month

Payments may be made by ACH, debit card, or credit card. Credit and debit card payments may include a convenience fee.

Families may choose to make an initial down payment when setting up the plan to lower the amount due each month.

Many students and families use a payment plan because paying in smaller amounts feels more realistic and less stressful.

Payment Deadlines

Bills must be paid in full, or a payment plan must be established, by the end of the first week of classes. A hold will be placed on accounts that are not paid by the deadline, and students will not be able to register for additional classes in the current or future semesters.

Third-Party Payments

If an employer, government agency, or other outside organization will pay tuition and fees on a student's behalf, a funding authorization must be submitted to the College. Please contact the Business Office for documentation and submission guidance.
