Whether you are a first year, transfer, or international student, we are looking forward to helping you start your journey at Wesleyan College. New Student Orientation programming is designed to help all new students in their transition to campus. Please see our programs below for more information about what to expect.
Wesleyan College is committed to keeping our living and learning spaces safe by implementing physical distancing measures established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to minimize the risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19. Measures being implemented on campus for the safety of our students.
Summer Orientation is required for all new Wesleyan students. You will discuss your course schedule with an academic advisor, learn more about student resources available on campus, and connect with current students, faculty, and staff. Though this session is in-person, we will be adhering to CDC recommendation and campus safety measures. Register today, or contact New Student Orientation staff with any additional questions at email@example.com.
First-year students will choose to attend ONE of the following Summer Orientation sessions (Registration opens April 1, 2021). Transfer students are encouraged to join First-years on June 23rd or July 12th. All Summer Orientation sessions will be held from 8am-4pm.
Before you arrive for Summer Orientation, please make sure that you have completed all of the requirements listed on the Accepted Students page.
If you already know that you have an extenuating circumstance that will prevent you from attending a session in person (ex. you are a first-year international student or are traveling from another state), please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Get ready to make Wesleyan your home away from home! If you plan to live on campus, make sure to submit your housing application as soon as possible to reserve your space. Residence Life will notify all new students of their housing assignment by mid-July for incoming fall students and mid-December for incoming spring students.
New student move-in will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 for first-year and transfer students. You will receive more information from Residence Life, including your specific move-in time, what to bring, and how to prepare for move-in, as we get closer to the Fall.
If you are an international student, please visit the International Admissions page for more information about move-in dates, transportation to campus, registering for classes, and deadlines for documentation.
Are you ready to join the PACK? PACK Weekend is Wesleyan’s signature fall orientation program and will be held August 13-15, 2021.
