Enrique "Ricky" Chavez is an award-winning director, director of photography, and producer with extensive experience in music performance capture, documentary filmmaking, and commercial production. His work spans collaborations with major clients including Walt Disney Studios, Warner Records, Fender Guitars, Jackson Guitars, FX Networks, and Billboard.

Chavez's documentary "First Down" has garnered widespread recognition, winning Best Short Documentary at Cinequest Festival and earning nominations at over fifteen film festivals internationally, including official selections at Austin Film Festival and Bentonville Film Festival. His short films "Look, It's Spring!" and "The 9th Life" both earned 1st Place honors at their respective 48-hour film festivals.

His music industry credits include live performance captures for artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, Punch Brothers, Chika, Michael Bublé, Dua Lipa, and Ed Sheeran. He has also directed content for YouTube channels with combined audiences exceeding 150 million views, including work with Pomplamoose, Scary Pockets, and Vertex Effects.

Chavez specializes in one-take music performance capture and owns professional cinema equipment including RED Komodo and Black Magic multi-cam systems.
